In addition to painting a few Dark Elves this pass week, I managed to finish some Old West figures as well including Knuckleduster’s Cowboy Faction set. A few weeks ago, I had painted Curly Bill Brocius and Tom McLaury. I’ve since learned that there may be some confusion between the Knuckleduster catalog and the movie cast the characters are based on. The figure for Billy Clanton listed in the catalog looks like the actor that played Tom McLaury in the film and the figure for Tom McLaury looks like the actor that played Billy Clanton.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the 10 Old West Figures I finished this week:

The Count
I’m inching closer to that goal to paint 520 miniatures in one year. My total so far is 169 – only 331 left to go.
- 34 28mm Fantasy Figures
- 59 10mm Seven Years War Figures
- 38 28mm Old West Figures
- 5 28mm Colonial Era Figures
- 15 20mm Spanish Civil War Figures
- 18 28mm Science Fiction Figures
- Rebased 11 28mm Science Fiction Figures
- 35 Terrain Pieces
Comments, like gifts of money and mink coats, are always appreciated. The pictures were taken with the ol’ iPad2 (I thought I ought to say that I have an older iPad because I understand the camera on the newer ones is better). No floozies were harmed in the making of this post, though the polish on my nails is chipped.
One last picture of the Knuckleduster Miniatures Gunfighter’s Ball Cowboy Faction pack:

Fantastic work there.
Cheers,
Pete.
