Painted up a couple more of the Stargrave figures from North Star. These are generic science fiction figures that can be used in many games. They are simple, quick to assemble and easy to paint. The big plus is that in can get a box of 20 for only $28, which comes to only $1.40 per figure making them very economical. Each box comes with enough heads, arms, equipment to assemble hundreds of different combinations.
The other big thing that I’ve discovered is to thin Vallejo paints with Merlin’s Magic Medium from Cuttlefish Colors instead of water for better consistency.
