Day One
I seem to always start NaNoWriMo behind in word count. The target to complete 50,000 words in the month of November is to write 1,667 words a day. Today, I only wrote 1,225.
Papsikels Aliens
To make these updates more interesting, I thought I’d post pictures of the Alien miniatures from Papsikels. These are resin 3D Printed minis I’ve bought from online printing services. On many of these, the common problem was that the tails snapped off during shipping and had to be reattached.
The aliens are modeled not only from the aliens seen in the movie franchises, but also the video games and graphic novels.

What was your technique for the coppery pearl on the Aliens, I love the organic/inorganic look!!
This batch of aliens was painted with a mix of Payne’s Grey and Black, given a light drybrush with a mix of Vallejo Steel and Blue Ink and finished with a coat of Gloss Medium. The coppery pearl may be a reflection of the battle mat she is standing on, I’m not sure.
