The good news is that I’m still on track to reach 50,000 words by November 30th. I managed to get 1,711 words written today for a total of 9,971 words. Looks like I will break the 10,000 word barrier tomorrow.

The Alien of the day is called the “Xeno Brood Grabber.” I can only guess that this alien’s primary function is to capture live organisms, take them to the hive’s nursery and cocoon them to become hosts for alien larvae.
