Vondajuna, High Priestess of the Nagaji (NSFW)

Hidden deep in the jungle is an enclave of the Nagaji, the center of their society is the temple, and the heart of the temple is the high priestess and matriarch, Vondajuna. Vondajuna is a living avatar of the goddess Nalinivati (the Serpent’s Kiss) and is many centuries, perhaps a thousand years old.

Living in a very hot & humid climate, Vondajuna, Vondra, and the Temple Guardians wear very little clothing, thus making this post Not Safe for Work (NSFW).

Vondajuna – Boss Monster

In WHAT and other tabletop role playing games, Vondajuna is a huge creature in charge of the dungeon, the BBEG (big bad evil guy). Her stats are those of a major demon caster with a ranged attack, her gaze, which if successful turns the target to lifeless stone. In addition, any opponent who loses a round of melee with Vondajuna stands a chance of being turned to stone.

Vondajuna and Vondra – Boss and Lieutenant

With the guidance of Nalinivati, over a century ago, Vondajuna transformed a frightened young native girl into a Medusa, the oracle Vondra.

Temple Guardians – the Henchmen, the Enforcers

Temple guardians are made, not born. Using powerful magic, Vondajuna has fused village women and huge snakes into an elite bodyguard enforcing Vondajuna’s rule.

The Nagaji – the Serpent-folk Minions

The Nagaji are mainly hunter gatherers, they do very little farming. They prefer a quiet lifestyle in the torrid, humid jungles. They are very aggressive in keeping others out of their territory and are known to raid human and elven villages.

Summary

Even though there is a day left, this wraps up the figures I’ve painted in the month of June. By finishing this wonderful large figure from Artisan Guild, my total of painted figures for 2024 is 235.
