From the Painting Table – May 29

Well, after a visit to the eye doctor, I am not legally blind in my right eye, I’m just mostly blind in that eye. The culprit is not cataracts, though I have a couple, but the dry form of macular degeneration in both eyes. There is no cure, but it can be slowed down. Next on the agenda is a cardiovascular stress test in a couple of weeks. But enough about health issues,let’s see what I managed to get painted this week.

3rd Unit of Hoplites

A third unit of hoplites was completed & like the first two, I tried to include at least three or four aquatic shield designs.

As with the other two units, the figures are from a variety of sources: Victrix, Wargames Foundry, Thistle & Rose, and Black Tree Design. Shield transfers are from Victrix and the ground cover is Sands of Sparta from Krautcover.
