Two and a half years ago, I started a project to run a few games around the history of the Azande. It was January 7th, 2022, when I started and then within days I fell and broke my arm, my good arm, the one I do nearly everything with. Things ground to a halt. In fact, the very last time I’ve done anything for the colonial era was early February 2023.

Anyway, I’ve finished painting the Azande Spearmen and Azande Characters. All of the figures are from Wargames Foundry, and as far as I know only Wargames Foundry and Copplestone Castings (sold by North Star Military Figures) are the only companies who have miniatures for the Azande.

My Zandeland Project to Date
